Anthony J Serafino Scholarship 2025 Applications Now Available!


Arrha Credit Union’s Scholarship Committee will be awarding four (4) $1,000 scholarships


Eligibility: See Download Scholarship for more details. 
REQUIRED QUESTION TO ANSWER: Students must submit a typewritten essay in 500 words or less on the following topic: “How has a failure or setback in your life shaped who you are today?”

Information regarding eligibility for these scholarships is listed below.


  1. Completed application.
  2. Eligibility is limited to high school seniors who will be enrolled in an undergraduate college degree program during the 2024-2025 academic year.
  3. Applicant or parent/guardian must be a member of the sponsoring credit union.
  4. List of extracurricular school activities and community service.
  5. An official high school academic transcript of grades, including midyear/first semester senior grades, completed by their counselor.
  6. Standardized (SAT, ACT or both) testing scores (either on official high school transcript or a copy from a testing agency).
  7. Each applicant must complete a current 2025 Scholarship Application form and submit it no later than Monday, March 3, 2025, by close of business, with the other required material(s) to:

The Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship winners evaluating each applicant on the same criteria: academic achievement, extracurricular/community activities and essay.

Please read the application carefully and submit all items requested. Failure to submit any of the pieces requested will result in disqualification of your application. All application questions must be answered in order to qualify.


Scholarship winners will be selected by no later than Monday, March 10, 2025 and will be contacted by telephone shortly thereafter. Non-winners will also be notified by mail. An awards ceremony will be held at the annual meeting on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 and we ask that all winners be present.
