JOB TITLE: Full Time Teller


The Full Time Float Teller will perform a variety of duties and responsibilities related to the delivery of transaction services to members.  Cross-sell credit union products and services. Up to 40 hours per week including Saturdays. Floating Tellers will travel between 3 office locations in Springfield, West Springfield, and Hadley. Fluency in Spanish a plus.




  1. Receive shares and loan payments.
  2. Handle withdrawals.
  3. Sell money orders and travelers checks to members.
  4. Handle mail transactions.
  5. Mail receipts.
  6. Account for all monies.
  7. Handle miscellaneous cash transactions.
  8. Balance cash drawer and make settlement of day’s activities.
  9. Answer members’ inquiries or refer questions to appropriate department.
  10. Cross-sell credit union products and services.
  11. Maintain office stock supply.
  12. General typing, filing, computer input and other miscellaneous duties.
  13. Develop a working knowledge of the credit union’s data processing usage.
  14. Develop an understanding of credit union policies, by-laws, and operational procedures.
  15. May be responsible for additional duties to support Member Services.
  16. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
  17. Travel between branches and main office as needed for training and other duties.

Hours of Operation:

      All offices have drive-thru services beginning at 7:30am Monday–Friday. Qualified candidates must have the ability to travel and report to the necessary office prior to opening. Lobby hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Wednesday, Friday with Thursday from 9am-6pm. All offices are open from 9am-1pm on Saturday.

JOB TITLE:                Receptionist

DEPARTMENT:         Member Service

REPORTS TO:           Branch Manager




Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.




  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.

  • Greets and directs visitors to the company.

  • Will take and retrieve messages for various personnel.

  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.

  • Received, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.

  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)

  • Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.

  • May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.




  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Possession of strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

  • Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates.
